The BeyHive went up during the NFL’s halftime show this past Sunday during Super Bowl 2016. Loving Beyonce’s whole MJ ensemble and Black Panther themed backup dancers. Her perfectly blended transitions made for a fascinating show alongside Bruno Mars and Cold Play. Although promoted as an additional act to Cold Play, Beyonce stole the show in more than one way dropping a new single “Formation” the day before the Super Bowl, then dropping visuals for the song, then performing during halftime and then announcing a world tour shortly afterwards. The Queen Bey’s marketing team executed that marketing plan flawlessly but that doesn’t mean Beyonce is free and clear of any critics. Critics, well more specifically Rudy Guilliani, former Mayor of NY and Tomi Lahren, a 22 year old Fox News host, had much negative to say about Beyonce’s “Black Power” performance. Tomi Lahren even going as far to say Beyonce is “ramrodding an aggressive agenda down our throats”. Tsk.. tsk… First watch the halftime performance and then check out Tomi’s rant. Smh…
